Recently we spent our summer vacation in Italy (Umbria and Tuscany).
Our stay (1 week) in Tuoro sul Trasimeno at 'I Capricci di Merion' was great. A typical Italian hotel with a very personal approach. Our hotel room was very nice and neat. The breakfast and dinner in the nice and cozy garden was well cared for and offered ample choices. The hotel has a nice garden with swimming pool and offers opportunities for spa and wellness. The staff is extremely friendly and speak good English. Highly recommended for those who want peace and want to experience Italian hospitality in a romantic setting.

We stayed for 5 beautiful and excellent days in your hotel.
Very nice location with vieuw on the lake.
Lovely swimmingpool,kind and very friendly personel.
Very good restaurant-very big and good wine choises.
Good bedroom and well equipt badroom.

The setting was beautiful - good views of the lake. The swimming pool was very warm and it was good to relax here after a day sight seeing. Food in the evening was good and since the weather was very hot we were able to eat outside.Breakfast was adequate. Staff were very helpful. Tuoro was quite a small village with few shops, a small square with a cafe bar. A car is a must to explore the surrounding area.
